Smart Goal, Part 2

This blog is for the Kindergarten teachers at Peterson Elementary to blog about their 3rd quarter and 4th guarter Smart Goals.

I feel we are doing a very good job of meeting our smart goals. I have not noticed any gaps. The only two students in kindergarten that did not meet the goal are both in the process of being tested. We dialogue often about strategies to help those two students. The best thing we have found is repetitive individualized instruction with these students.
For the most part, they are working however, I have been able to pinpoint certain areas that need targeted improvement.
Yes, my strategies are working in my classroom. Using differentiated instruction and Tier 11 time has helped with each child progressing.
Yes, the strategies are working. The only gap is the student who does not attend school all day and does not receive direct math instruction.
