By utilizing the comprehension strategies (think alouds, and before, during, and after reading activities)provided by the Treasures teaching manual, we have consistently addressed these areas throughout the year. We also provide opportunities for comprehension work during centers. We pull students for individual work when we see that extra work is needed.
