We have, as a grade level, increased our use of Kagan strategies in the classroom which has increased student engagement. Continued use of manipulatives has set a concrete foundation for number sense. We feel that we are in the application stage of differentiated instruction utilizing the strategies introduced and are open and willing to improve on them.
