To target areas that need improvement in intervention/tier time.
I feel we definitely need to not only increase the numbers we are working with, but also increase the rigor with those numbers. They need to be challenged. We have worked a lot more with this group of students on grouping by 5's and 10's. Even though it is not a kindergarten standard, we have been working with them on on grouping and counting up to 50 by fives and tens. We could increase this now to 100. We think most of our kids could handle it.
My next step is to provide enrichment for each student.
My next step would be to provide practice and enrichment activities for most of the class and remedial activities for the one student.
